We collaborated with educators across the United States to refine a UK-based early childhood sleep and mindfulness app, adapting it into a mindfulness-based EdTech SEL tool for the U.S. education system. By gathering educator feedback, we identified key classroom needs, such as shortening stories for time-constrained lessons and creating curated playlists for easy content access.
To ensure effectiveness, we piloted the app in early childhood classrooms, first testing its usability in group settings and later integrating it into 1:1 student learning stations. Insights from multiple pilot studies, conducted in partnership with early childhood educators, informed ongoing app iterations. These findings also served as the foundation for federal grant proposals aimed at further enhancing the app’s classroom integration and evaluating its broader impact on both students and teachers.
"Working with this team was invaluable in helping us thoughtfully adapt our app for U.S. classrooms. Their educator-centered research approach and deep understanding of early childhood SEL enabled us to make meaningful, evidence-based enhancements that truly resonated with teachers and students alike." - Moshi Kids
Our team collaborated with a local private school to enhance its social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives. Through in-depth consultations with key stakeholders, we assessed the school’s unique SEL needs and developed a comprehensive curriculum that evolved over multiple years based on student and faculty feedback. To extend learning beyond the classroom, we designed an online component, providing continuous SEL resources and support. By conducting student surveys, we gained valuable insights into their experiences and needs, allowing us to refine the curriculum for maximum impact. This iterative approach ensured that the program remained responsive, effective, and aligned with the school’s goals for student well-being.
"They did an awesome job serving on our SEL advisory board and as our lead consultant and facilitator for our high school SEL program. They created relevant SEL lessons for our students and faculty that were impactful and well-received. Their work positively improved the culture and climate of our institution." - Lausanne Collegiate School
We partnered with multiple schools and educational organizations to develop and implement developmentally appropriate social-emotional learning (SEL) curricula tailored to various age groups. Through in-depth consultations, we assessed each school's unique needs and provided strategic guidance on the most effective ways to integrate SEL programming into their educational framework.
Beyond curriculum design, we actively engaged with school communities by delivering student-focused talks on the importance of SEL. Additionally, we led professional development workshops for educators and parents, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to foster SEL in both classroom and home environments. Through these efforts, we helped schools create meaningful, sustainable SEL programs that support students' emotional well-being and overall development.
"The presentation on mindfulness and social-emotional learning deeply resonated with our students, offering them relatable insights and practical tools to better understand their emotions and relationships. It sparked meaningful conversations on campus and left a lasting impression on our school community." - Grant Burke, Memphis University School
We have worked with organizations, universities, and research institutions to drive impactful educational research and support funding efforts for innovative initiatives. Our team has conducted systematic reviews to identify gaps in both the academic literature and the marketplace, providing critical insights for program development and strategic decision-making.
We have represented clients at national conferences, including the Society for Research in Child Development and the National Head Start Conference and Expo, presenting findings that shape the field of early childhood education. Our expertise extends to authoring and submitting peer-reviewed qualitative and quantitative research papers for publication, ensuring that data-driven insights contribute to broader academic and industry conversations.
To further advance educational innovation, we have written grant proposals for local and federal funding opportunities ranging from $50,000 to $6 million, helping organizations pursue resources to scale their initiatives. Additionally, we have collaborated with leading institutions such as Harvard University, the University of Miami, and the American Institute for Research on research proposals that push the boundaries of innovation in education and child development.
